JOB DESCRIPTION:
  
Reporting to the Media and Communications team, this role will include the production and organisation of social media posts and digital ad campaigns, plus assistance with copy creation other marketing collateral. You will work closely with marketing team in scheduling and creating social media posts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as some print collateral and marketing. You will be rewarded with the chance to create social media campaigns in a professional environment and be able to learn from experienced practitioners.
  
An ideal candidate will be organised, quick thinking and creative.  A demonstrated interest in social media (especially Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram) and digital media and/or communications is a must.
  
Tertiary students and graduates of Communications, Public Relations, and Media studies are encouraged to apply.
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Creation and maintenance of a monthly social media calendar
• Using CoSchedule for social media content across all areas of the business
• Set up and monitoring ad campaigns across social platforms including Facebook/Instagram/Twitter
• Live posting at prominent events and productions
• Monitoring of all social media accounts and responding to queries
• Assisting with media campaigns
• Social listening and analytics analysis

  
OUR DREAM CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO:

• 1-2+ years of relevant experience with social media using all major social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
• A passion for social media and able to show examples of own work on relevant social media platforms
• A passion for topics regarding diversity and multiculturalism
• The ability to analyse and read social and digital analytics including Facebook insights
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• The ability to effectively manage time and competing deadlines
• Strong writing, grammatical and editing skills
• A high attention to detail
• A dynamic and positive approach to their work
• Strong interpersonal skills

  


LOCATION:
The host company is located at Melbourne.
