ABOUT THE POSITION:
We’re looking for an Accounting Intern to join the finance team of a reputable Australian or multinational host company. Opportunities are available across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, in both commercial business environments and CA/CPA Public Accounting Practices.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• Be currently studying or recently graduated in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess technical and soft skills relevant to accounting tasks
• Be committed to pursuing a career in accounting
• Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
You may gain hands-on experience in areas such as:
Commercial Business (Assistant Accountant Intern):

• Ledger Entry and Bookkeeping
• Profit and Loss Statements, Income/Expenditure Reports
• Business Activity Statements (BAS), Tax Reports
• Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
• Payroll processing
• Software tools: MYOB, Xero, SAP

Public Practice (Junior Accountant Intern):

• Preparing income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, etc.
• GST, BAS/IAS, FBT returns
• Bookkeeping and data entry
• Financial report preparation and client communication
• Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office
• Software tools: MYOB, Xero, Handy Ledger, Handy Tax, SAP

LOCATION:
Internship opportunities are available in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
