POSITION OVERVIEW:
The 1st Level ICT Support Technician is responsible for providing first-line technical support to
end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of ICT systems and services. This role involves
troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with diagnosing network connectivity
issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level MSP support as needed.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of ICT equipment, including
computers, printers, mobile devices and Audio-Visual equipment.
• Document and track support requests using the organization's ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to the MSP as necessary.
• Collaborate with the MSP to ensure timely resolution of ICT issues.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of ICT assets.
• Provide basic training and support to end-users on ICT systems.
• Participate in ICT projects and initiatives as required.
• Adhere to the organization's ICT policies and procedures
The duties and responsibilities within this position description may be varied by the Line
Manager and/or Executive Team to meet business requirements.

provided vehicles.

responsibility of the position.
SELECTION CRITERIA
MANDATORY
• Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar ICT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and IOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with basic network concepts and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
• Experience working with a Managed Service Provider is a plus.
LOCATION:
The host company is located in Perth.
