Job Description: IT Support Intern
Location: Wetherill Park, NSW
Position Type: Unpaid Internship (3 months)

Position Summary:
As an IT Support Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and contribute to our ongoing commitment to providing outstanding support services. You will learn about various aspects of IT support, including system maintenance, user assistance, and troubleshooting, while gaining insights into industry best practices and workplace protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• Document support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to the development of user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and propose innovative solutions.
• Support the organization of IT-related events and training sessions.
• Engage in research activities focused on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.
• Comply with workplace safety protocols and IT security standards.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving.
• Familiarity with operating systems, software applications, and networking concepts.
• Proficient in using help desk software and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in preparing user documentation and guides.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of IT security standards and best practices is a plus.
