ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for a Software Developer Intern.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

  
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
You could be provided work experience in the following areas:

• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Training users
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Linux and Microsoft server operating system experience
• Proficiency in C/C++/C# programming
• Proficient in Multi-threaded application development
• Experience with microservice architectures and containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in database design and basic database patterns
• Experience with SQL database technologies
• HTML/CSS skills and modern web techniques
