AV Technician role is responsible for carrying out assigned tasks related to audio-visual installation, maintenance, and repair across various sites, as designated by the Technologies service administration team. Depending on the nature of the tasks at hand, this position may involve leading a team or working independently. It encompasses the installation, upkeep, and restoration of communication, data, and audio visual systems across diverse industries and settings.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Prioritizing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
2. Technical expertise in audio-visual systems.
3. Ensuring quality control in all tasks.
4. Handling administrative responsibilities.
5. Assuming leadership roles as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experiences:

1. Capability to interpret AV schematics and scopes of work to understand the functionality and user experience of AV systems from a hardware perspective.
2. Registration as a Communications and Data Cabler with endorsements 
3. Possession of Data and Communications Vendor Certifications
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of technical troubleshooting.
5. Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as circumstances dictate.
7. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Previous experience working in a commercial environment with a commitment to adhering to safety standards.
9. Capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.
