Job Purpose
We are currently hiring for one of our clients who is looking for a Service Desk Team Lead who is passionate about their team's purpose and their responsibility to patients. In this role, you will lead a team of 15 Level 1 and Level 2 IT support staff, ensuring high-quality IT support for both internal and external customers while driving team performance and service excellence. You will also foster strong camaraderie within the team while taking your consequential role seriously.
What you'll be doing:
- Align IT support services with the client's strategy, collaborate with stakeholders, and build a talent pipeline in a fast-paced environment.
- Plan staffing, manage rosters, oversee after-hours support, and contribute to team training and development.
- Prioritise and resolve incidents, ensuring compliance with security standards and maintaining documentation.
- Foster strong relationships across the business, ensure personal development plans for the team, and promote the client's values.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, compliance with regulations, and contribute to training.
- Lead by example, promote continuous learning, and support IT staff development.
What we're looking for: - Proven experience in managing a highly available IT support team.
- A purpose-driven leader, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IT systems, security protocols, and service delivery best practices.
- An in-depth understanding of IT systems, applications, and service desk processes.
- Experience with user access management, security protocols, and ITIL-based service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and privacy standards, including handling PHI and PII.
