Service Operations Supervisor / Field Service Coordinator We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Operations Supervisor to lead and support a team of field service technicians across commissioning, maintenance, and emergency service delivery.
This role is responsible for coordinating daily field operations, managing technician schedules and service calls, supporting customers with technical and service enquiries, and ensuring high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving service performance, supporting business growth opportunities, and ensuring technicians are equipped with the tools, training, and support needed to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule field service technicians for service, commissioning, maintenance, and breakdown work
Manage after-hours callout operations and ensure customer commitments are met
Support technicians with technical guidance, documentation, and administrative requirements
Respond promptly to customer service requests, quotations, and operational enquiries
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks to ensure service standards are achieved
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and training recommendations, and support ongoing development
Ensure compliance with all WHS, environmental, and quality standards
Manage timesheets, van stock levels, warehouse inventory, and service documentation
Work closely with technical support and sales teams to identify service and business development opportunities
Build strong customer relationships and promote service offerings to generate additional contract and maintenance business
Provide regular updates to management on project and service activity status
About You
Previous experience in field service coordination, service supervision, or technical operations management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technical background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, power systems, or related industries highly regarded
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
