Vulnerability Assessor – Rapid7 Specialist

Location: ACT preferred (VIC & SA also considered)
Contract: 12 months initial
Clearance: NV1 required prior to commencement

Join a high‑impact cyber team for a federal government department working on a major security uplift project. We’re seeking a Vulnerability Assessor with strong Rapid7 InsightVM (IVM) expertise to support ongoing rollout, configuration, and integration of enterprise vulnerability management capabilities.
What you’ll do

• Configure Rapid7 IVM in line with detailed design and agency requirements
• Produce clear, actionable vulnerability reports
• Support API integrations between Rapid7 and other tools (e.g., Archer)
• Deliver technical and admin training to APS staff

What you bring

• Proven experience with Rapid7 IVM & Rapid7 EASM
• Strong skills in API integration and systems engineering
• Expertise in vulnerability management practices
• Knowledge of PSPF, ISM, and the Essential Eight
