About the Role
The Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of mechanical services projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes managing all aspects of planning, procurement, coordination, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical services projects from award through to completion and handover.
Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractor packages.
Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and relevant standards.
Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, and key stakeholders.
Lead project meetings, reporting, and communication across all parties.
Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance.
About You
Demonstrated experience delivering major mechanical services projects in a contracting environment.
Strong commercial acumen, including cost control, budgeting, and contract management.
Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
