Requiring a Senior Storage Infrastructure Specialist to optimise our Dell PowerScale & Isilon environment.

Key Deliverables

Technical Audit Report – Current architecture, health, risks, and strategic recommendations
Architecture Diagrams – Cluster config, tiering, data services
Operational Runbooks – Admin, troubleshooting, maintenance
Capacity & Growth Forecasts – With scalability recommendations
Knowledge Transfer – Structured sessions with ICT team

Technical Scope

Optimise PowerScale/Isilon clusters (all-flash, archive, legacy nodes)
Tune SmartPools, SnapshotIQ, SyncIQ, and tiering
Resolve performance bottlenecks (metadata, I/O, SMB/NFS)
Recommend architectural enhancements for performance, utilisation, and reliability
Deliver clear, actionable documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

Expert-level Dell PowerScale/Isilon (OneFS 8.x/9.x) – design, admin, optimisation
Enterprise-scale NAS for high-performance workloads
Scale-out architecture, tiering, data services
Documentation & runbooks for complex environments
Strong communication – technical to non-technical stakeholders
