We are currently seeking a skilled Farm Hand to join our team, working with both dryland and irrigated crops, including wheat, canola, chickpea, and cotton. Our irrigation system comprises syphons and one lateral move. The role involves operating John Deere machinery equipped with GPS for various phases of crop production, from land preparation and seeding to harvesting. Please note, contractors will manage all spraying and cotton picking tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all aspects of crop production, except for spraying and cotton picking, which are managed by contractors.
• Operate John Deere machinery equipped with GPS for land preparation, seeding, and harvesting.
• Maintain machinery, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
• Exhibit a proactive approach and a strong work ethic in all tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven farming experience
• Valid driver's licence and personal vehicle required for commuting.
• Mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot farm equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Remuneration:

• Salary and benefits are highly negotiable based on experience.

Additional Information:

• A work vehicle will be provided for on-farm use.
• This position does not include accommodation.
