About the role:
  
Medmate is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Director of Pharmacy to lead the strategic development, engagement, and growth of our national pharmacy partner network. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for strengthening relationships with community pharmacies, driving the adoption of Medmate's virtual care services, and ensuring our pharmacy partners are equipped to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  
Working closely with internal leadership, commercial, product, and healthcare teams, you will develop and execute strategies that expand our pharmacy footprint, enhance partner performance, and identify new opportunities for growth. You'll act as a trusted advisor to our pharmacy network, fostering long-term partnerships that improve healthcare accessibility while delivering value to both Medmate and our pharmacy partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen Medmate's national network of 1,000+ partner pharmacies, driving engagement, growth, and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee the onboarding, training, and ongoing support of pharmacy partners to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive the rollout of new products, services, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives across the pharmacy network.
• Provide clinical leadership and expert advice to internal teams while maintaining clinical protocols and treatment guides.
• Train doctors, nurses, and pharmacy partners on Medmate's platform, clinical pathways, and best practice.
• Monitor operational and commercial KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and support the continued expansion of Medmate's pharmacy network.

  
Key Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or higher) and strong knowledge of Pharmacy Board guidelines and regulations.
• Proven experience in community pharmacy, account management, customer success, or stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive business outcomes.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment while taking ownership of outcomes.
• Experience delivering training and education to pharmacists or healthcare professionals is highly regarded.
