About the role:
As a Hospital Sales Representative – Dermatology (Vic West), you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strong relationships, and promoting Arrotex's innovative dermatology portfolio to dermatologists and other key healthcare professionals across Melbourne West. Your primary objective will be to achieve and exceed sales targets by delivering value-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes while aligning with Arrotex's commercial strategy and commitment to quality healthcare.
Working within the hospital and specialist environment, you will execute territory business plans, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise portfolio performance. All customer interactions and promotional activities will be conducted ethically and professionally, supporting the quality use of medicines and ensuring compliance with both corporate policies and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales targets across Melbourne (West), driving growth of Arrotex's Dermatology portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dermatologists, hospital specialists, pharmacists, and other key healthcare professionals to maximise product adoption and improve patient outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based product detailing and educational presentations, demonstrating strong clinical and commercial expertise.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive territory performance.
• Execute national sales and marketing initiatives, product launches, and customer engagement activities in collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and the wider commercial team.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and conduct all activities in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Key Requirements

• Proven success as a pharmaceutical or hospital sales representative, with a minimum of 3 years' experience; dermatology, specialty care, or hospital sales experience will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with dermatologists, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals while consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate clinical evidence into meaningful customer conversations.
• A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Business, or a related discipline, with completion (or willingness to complete) Medicines Australia Certification.
• Highly organised with strong analytical, territory planning, CRM, and time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
• A valid Australian Driver Licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Melbourne territory, with occasional interstate travel for meetings, training, and conferences.
