About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded
FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analytics team at DBG Health. Reporting to the Corporate Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering financial insights that support strategic decision-making across rebates, pricing, customer profitability and commercial performance.
Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance, you'll provide meaningful analysis, identify opportunities for process improvement and help drive profitable business outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities - Prepare and analyse customer profitability (P&L) reporting, providing insights into performance, risks and opportunities.
- Manage the monthly review of customer rebates and co-op spend, ensuring accruals, claims and payments are accurate and aligned to commercial agreements.
- Review customer pricing, investigate discrepancies and ensure pricing data is maintained accurately.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver financial modelling, commercial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
- Support customer attraction and retention activities, including weekly PAR approval processes and commercial evaluations.
- Identify and implement process improvements across financial reporting, pricing and profitability analysis through automation and standardisation.
Skills & Experience - Minimum 3- 4 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting, ideally within pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related commercial industries.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and deliver commercially focused insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using financial reporting or ERP systems; Power BI experience is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across Finance and commercial teams.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
