About The Role
Join DBG Health on a 12-month Fixed-Term contract as a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist, where you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing remuneration frameworks and benefits programs that support organisational objectives and comply with Australian employment legislation.
The role ensures compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and legally compliant, supporting the attraction, retention, and motivation of employees.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead remuneration strategy and frameworks by designing job architecture, salary bands, and policies. Deliver annual review cycles, including modelling, calibration, and pay equity management.
- Oversee super, allowances, and wellness offerings, manage vendors, renewals, and employee communications.
- Maintain alignment with Fair Work, awards, and tax regulations; manage audits, reporting (e.g. WGEA), and risk controls.
- Benchmark roles, analyse pay data (e.g. gender pay gap, compa-ratio), and provide reporting and costed recommendations to leadership.
- Oversee global mobility and immigration by managing visa processes, compliance, and policy development for international assignments and relocations.
- Provide advisory and continuous improvement by coaching leaders on reward decisions, support escalations, and lead process enhancements and reward-related projects.
Skills & Experience - 5+ years in remuneration/benefits roles, including end-to-end annual review cycles and benefits administration.
- Strong remuneration expertise with proven knowledge of market pricing, job architecture, grading frameworks, and STI/LTI design.
- Solid understanding of Fair Work, NES, awards, enterprise agreements, and superannuation obligations.
- Advanced analytical capability, with a high proficiency in Excel, remuneration modelling, and data-driven insights; experience with HRIS and survey platforms.
- Cross-functional stakeholder management, partnering with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and compliant delivery of outcomes.
- Degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field; reward certifications (e.g. WorldatWork/AHRI) advantageous.
