About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead - Operations PMO to join our Operations Project Management Office. Reporting to the PMO Manager, this role is responsible for leading a portfolio of complex business and technical projects across DBG Health, ensuring delivery of agreed business objectives.
You will partner closely with senior stakeholders and business owners to scope, plan, execute and communicate projects across their full lifecycle, including new product launches, source-of-supply changes, partnership set-ups and other strategic initiatives. In addition, you will lead and develop a small team while contributing to the ongoing evolution of DBG Health’s project management capability.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex business projects, from initiation through to implementation and close-out
- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, timelines, risks and success measures
- Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers and communication plans
- Provide clear, regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership, escalating risks and decisions as required
- Facilitate and document project meetings, ensuring actions, risks and dependencies are actively managed
- Lead post-implementation and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement
- Manage and develop a small team of Specialists and Coordinators, including performance management, development planning and STIP processes
- Support recruitment, onboarding and capability development within the PMO team
- Contribute to the development, rollout and optimisation of project management tools, methodologies and systems
- Champion DBG Health values, health, safety and wellbeing standards, and a collaborative, business-partner mindset
Skills & Experience: - Proven experience leading complex business and/or operational projects within a PMO or similar environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and drive outcomes
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management and team development
- Experience developing or improving project management tools, processes or frameworks
- Strong organisational, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritise effectively and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving organisation
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality, productivity and collaboration
