About the Role
Lead a team of 3 as a Technical Packaging Manager to develop, validate, and optimize packaging solutions across all DBG brands, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and accurate global packaging data for AU, EU, and USA markets.
Responsibilities
- Collect accurate packaging specifications and documentation from suppliers; identify and escalate non-compliant packaging
- Develop and maintain reporting templates, capture requirements, and generate periodic internal and external reports
- Design packaging solutions that meet product briefs while driving sustainability, supported by PACT tool assessments
- Review portfolio to identify future opportunities and risks for sustainable packaging and closed-loop initiatives
- Ensure all packaging data, reports, and designs support timely, compliant, and informed decision-making
Skills & Experience - 3-5 years' packaging experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries
- Proven experience managing and developing direct reports or small teams
- Expertise in sustainable packaging, circular economy, materials science, lifecycle management, and packaging design
- Experience with multiple packaging formats and the PREP tool; strong regulatory compliance knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Science, or Food Science, or equivalent manufacturing/QA/Operations experience
- Willing to travel interstate 1-2 times per month
