The Operations division brings together Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, the Project Management Office, and Scientific Affairs to support and enable all key divisions across the group. About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing, validating, optimizing and implementing packaging solutions to meet DBG product requirements, safety standards, and sustainability goals. This role works across all brands to ensure packaging data and documentation are collected, validated and updated in our systems as well as being ready for packaging compliance reports across different markets (AU, UE and USA).
Responsibilities
- Collect packaging specifications and documentation from suppliers promptly
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reporting readiness of all packaging data
- Identify, validate, and escalate instances of non-compliant or poor packaging
- Consolidate packaging data into a single source of truth and maintain internal databases
- Verify externally supplied data against physical packaging to ensure accuracy and completeness
Skills & Experience - 1-3 years' experience in packaging within cosmetics, pharmaceutical or FMCG environments
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging, circular economy principles, materials, and packaging lifecycle management
- Experience working with multiple packaging formats and materials, including the use of the PREP tool
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills; able to work autonomously and cross-functionally
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Science or Food Science, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, QA or operations
- Willingness to travel interstate 1-2 times per month
