About the role:
We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Trade Manager to join our rapidly growing FMCG business in the cosmetics sector on a 12-month contract.
As the eCommerce Trade Manager you will take control of all eCommerce aspects of the brand; building out against the strategy for the respective brands web stores in the Global market, while supporting our ANZ retailers and marketplaces digitally.
You will own the end-to-end process of our ecommerce businesses enhancing brand & customer experience whilst driving revenue & profit growth. You will be collaborating with Product, Social Media, Influencer, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Production & other departments to optimise the entire operation towards significant growth.
Key responsibilities include leading eCommerce trading opportunities for core business, brand and supporting digital global expansion, enhancing UX/CX/UI and conversion performance, and managing product & promotions across all platforms.
The Trade & eCRM plan will be created in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Digital Experience. Ecommerce execution is supported by the eCommerce Assistant.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Own and be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance.
- Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy for each website
- Ownership of ecommerce sales and conversion rates.
- With the Head Of Digital Experience, direct the ongoing development of website UX, CR, AOV & revenue initiatives.
- Identify consumer behaviour & action ensuring brand & customer experience is optimised and maximised whilst delivering a positive commercial outcome.
- Contribute ideas to the Customer Acquisition Strategy as driven by the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Analyse site & product data, customer feedback and implement retention strategies
- Oversee website content & copy briefs (product/brand) including homepage banners, tiles, menus and page content are produced by the eCommerce Team on time and follow the appropriate approval processes with CMO.
- Work with and source content from, Social team or facilitate content to be created via UGC or Marketing Shoots to utilise on site when required.
- Take direction from Head Of Digital Experience or SLT to update and adjust content or product approach.
Skills & Experience: - At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, in an eCommerce retail environment (internship or paid work)
- Experience with optimization, A/B testing
- Proficient in Google Analytics and other web analytical tools
- Data driven, analytical and results-oriented, with an appetite for constant testing and optimization
- Measurable experience with both creative and analytical digital commerce
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills. Results driven.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
