About the role:
  
DBG Health is looking for a commercially minded and detail-driven Senior Finance Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) team. In this pivotal role, you’ll support financial performance, business partnering, and strategic decision-making — providing insights that help shape key commercial outcomes and drive growth across the business.
  
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead core FP&A operations through hands-on support and coordination of team activities, preparing analysis and reporting packs, driving forecasting/budgeting cycles, supporting Board and Performance reporting, and ensuring strong process governance and decision-making discipline.
• Provide data-driven business intelligence by leveraging systems and datasets to produce insightful analysis, commentary, and reporting that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation, supporting DBG Health’s initiatives to enhance processes, implement new planning/reporting systems, streamline workflows, and deliver ad-hoc projects that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage and influence stakeholders, building strong relationships across Group Functions, converting business needs into practical processes, and navigating varied personalities and behavioural styles to align expectations.
• Deliver essential administration, including timely email management, meeting coordination and agenda preparation, ensuring smooth communication and operational organisation.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong financial and commercial analysis capability, with a proven ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable commercial insights.
• Demonstrated success partnering with sales and marketing teams, including frequent interaction with senior management and a track record of delivering high-quality analytical outputs that support business decision-making.
• Advanced technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (e.g., INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, PivotTables, and advanced formulas), with the ability to build, analyse, and manipulate large data models.
• Strong business acumen and prioritisation skills, with the ability to quickly understand business needs, evaluate competing demands, and adapt analysis to support key priorities.
• Effective communicator, skilled at engaging across different personas and capable of coaching and developing team members to lift capability.
• Relevant experience and qualifications, including prior roles in FP&A or commercial analysis within blue-chip organisations, supported by tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance/Commerce and CA or CPA accreditation.
