About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Content & Communications Specialist to join our dynamic IPA team. In this pivotal role, you will design, create and deliver compelling communications that increase member engagement, showcase our value proposition, and elevate awareness of IPA within the pharmacy industry.
You will manage both BAU and project-based communications, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that members, suppliers, and industry partners are informed, engaged, and inspired. This role is ideal for a highly organised communicator who excels at creating meaningful content and enjoys turning insights into action.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement an annual communications and industry advertising plan.
• Plan, write and deliver engaging newsletters, campaigns, and video content.
• Source and develop content by collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external agencies.
• Manage and enhance content on the IPA Member Portal to drive engagement and usage.
• Support communications for IPA events, including promotional content, attendance-driving activities, and post-event follow-up.
• Create communication assets and briefs for campaigns and events.
• Monitor communications performance and provide weekly/monthly reporting to stakeholders.
• Conduct and analyse member and supplier surveys to generate insights and drive improvement.
• Use communications, portal, and survey insights to shape ongoing content strategy.
• Support leadership with budget management, reporting, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance and communications support to stakeholders across the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrated experience in content creation, communications, or marketing.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital channels.
• Experience in developing email campaigns, newsletters, and campaign assets.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret insights and improve performance.
• Experience working with agencies, designers, or content producers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in member-based organisations or the pharmacy/health sector (advantageous but not essential).
