About the role:
DBG Health, is looking for an experienced Shared Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within our Finance function. Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role will drive financial accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across transactional finance.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead transformation initiatives, embed strong financial controls, and provide trusted insights to support business decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within a dynamic, high-growth organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage AP and AR teams across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Drive P2P and R2R transformation initiatives and process enhancements
- Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor shared services performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and optimise service delivery.
- Support finance system improvements, workflow automation, and policy updates.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to shared services team members.
Skills & Experience: - 10+ years in senior finance or shared services roles, including 3+ years in leadership
- Proven success in process improvement, change management, and finance systems optimisation.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP/AR, financial controls, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel and solid Microsoft 365 skills; experience with ERP systems such as Business Central or NetSuite desirable.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG industries desirable.
