About The Role:
As Senior ERP Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the ERP solutions that power our business. Working closely with the Product Manager, you'll oversee the full platform lifecycle, from selection, development and testing through to deployment and continuous improvement.
You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to monitor and maintain day-to-day operations, identify opportunities to optimise performance and introduce innovative enhancements. You'll empower business users to adopt and self-serve on ERP platforms, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to product roadmaps, manage the SDLC and development backlogs, and ensure platforms are secure, compliant and aligned with organisational policies.
- Oversee ERP lifecycle and enhancements, manage changes, updates and improvements in line with agreed technology standards and company policy.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues, ensuring capacity and operational needs are met.
- Work with cross-functional teams, direct reports and external partners to implement and review developments, testing and deployments.
- Participate in ongoing training, stay across industry trends and company policies, and help upskill business users to self-serve.
Skills & Experience: - Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, vendors and stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP technologies, best-practice implementations and cloud-based systems; knowledge of NetSuite OneWorld, Celigo iPaaS, Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics and related finance and inventory modules (highly regarded).
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, SQL, XML, JSON and REST; solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and external vendors in complex, dynamic environments using varied methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
- Exposure to FMCG or retail industries with a strong grasp of finance and supply-chain processes (advantageous).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
