About the Role:  
As an Inventory Officer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining an accurate stock file to support effective inventory control and precise tracking of individual products within the Buy It Right system.

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Stock file maintenance - additions, deletions, and product updates.
• Execute processes & tasks associated with item setup & maintenance including cost updates and & other duties.
• Work closely with the Merchandise team & Other Departments to ensure you have the necessary data for new item loads & load those items to required specifications and timelines.
• Action barcode and price updates from stores.
• Conduct regular audits of stock file data to identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring high data integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock file changes and related communications.
• Load promotions as instructed by external teams and stores for both internal and external stores, ensuring correct pricing and display.
• Liaise proactively with suppliers to obtain the latest product lists and update the system accordingly.
• Respond promptly and effectively to store and internal department queries related to inventory.
• Troubleshoot all issues independently, seeking help when and where required from the Technology Team or direct manager.
• Generate and analyse inventory reports to support operational decision-making.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation processes.

Skills & Experience: 

• Microsoft Office. Excel Intermediate to Advance
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent Organisational skills and ability to Multitask
• Troubleshoot issues independently
• A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
