About the role:
Arrotex Pharmaceuticals is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Analyst/Market Analyst to join our Marketing team in Sydney or Melbourne. In this pivotal role, you will use your advanced excel skills to analyse sales data, market trends, and customer insights to uncover opportunities that drive key business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, Sales, and Marketing to deliver actionable insights into performance, pricing strategy, and market opportunities that support our continued growth and efficiency.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Prepare new product development (NPD) pipeline business cases from volume to gross profit.
· Deliver actionable insights and recommendations at a portfolio/product level to support commercial decisions.
· Analyse sales performance, consumer behaviour, and market trends.
· Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify risks, trends and new opportunities.
· Support PBS, PBAC, and SPD pricing submissions with the SME.
· Partner with Finance during month-end, budgeting, and reporting.
· Work with product leads on pricing strategy, product mix and promotional effectiveness.
· Collaborate with Trade Marketing to integrate customer insights into strategy.
· Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and ethical standards.
· Contribute to ongoing SOP and business process improvements.
· Participate in monthly field days with the national sales team (2 days per annum).
Skills & Experience:
· 2+ years’ experience in a commercial function, ideally with fast-moving, high-volume products.
· Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to consolidate and translate data into insights.
· Proficient in Excel, Power BI, IQVIA (or similar tools).
· Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· Knowledge of PBS and SPD frameworks is highly regarded.
· Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
· Curious mindset and a proactive approach to storytelling with data.
