About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and collaborative Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, based in Richmond. This is a high-impact role that will contribute to the strategic financial direction of the business by leading the corporate planning process and delivering high-quality management reporting, forecasting, and board-level insights. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys partnering with diverse stakeholders and can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting, corporate planning, and monthly forecasting processes
- Prepare and present board packs, including board-ready PowerPoint presentations summarising key insights and performance metrics.
- Deliver financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with divisional and corporate teams to support informed decision-making and performance tracking.
- Support the implementation of new planning and reporting systems to enhance automation and insight generation.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide hands-on support and coordination of activities across the FP&A function.
Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with hands-on involvement in annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly planning cycles.
- Demonstrated experience preparing board packs and presenting complex financial data in a clear, compelling format suitable for executive audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – a collaborative communicator who can influence across levels and functions.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH) and experience using planning/reporting tools.
- Big 4 background or experience in blue-chip environments highly desirable.
- CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
