About the role:
  
The Pharmacy Education Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality education and training programs for pharmacists and pharmacy teams. This role will lead the development of structured learning initiatives, facilitate workshops, provide coaching, and oversee major training events. The role ensures that all training programs align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives, ultimately enhancing pharmacy practice and patient outcomes.
  
Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver pharmacy education through the IPA Training Calendar, tailored programs, and the IPA Academy Online Training Platform (LMS).
• Lead and mentor the Learning and Development Specialist, ensuring effective execution of training objectives, schedules, and communication strategies.
• Create engaging, high-quality educational content using adult learning principles and instructional design for both online and in-person formats.
• Deliver training and coaching sessions for pharmacy professionals, supporting skill development across multiple competencies.
• Design and execute large-scale events, including the IPA Academy Education Masterclass and Pharmacy Ownership Ready Program.
• Build and manage event content agendas, speaker coordination, interactive activities, and sponsorship engagement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure educational offerings are aligned with industry needs and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance data to continually enhance learning initiatives.
• Utilise technology to improve access, interactivity, and the overall learning experience.
• Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards, contributing to a safe and effective work environment.

  
Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field; additional certifications in education/training are an advantage.
• Expertise in e-learning development and instructional design, including the use of digital learning platforms and tools.
• Extensive experience in pharmacy practice, education, or professional development.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver training programs, both in-person and online that deliver high engagement and measurable outcomes.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills with experience leading workshops and learning sessions.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacy business operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
• Experience in event management and sponsorship engagement is desirable.
