About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Launch Lead to oversee the successful introduction of new pharmaceutical products to market. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive launch strategies for innovative therapies, ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination across key business areas including Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Market Access.
The ideal candidate will bring proven project management expertise, a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, and a genuine passion for delivering life-changing treatments to patients. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement go-to-market strategies for new pharmaceutical products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Conduct market analysis to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities and risks.
Lead coordination across internal teams including Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Market Access to ensure smooth and timely execution of launch plans. Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders.
Develop clear and consistent communications for internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners such as healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and industry influencers.
Support the development of promotional materials, sales tools, and training programmes to ensure commercial teams are fully prepared for launch. Collaborate closely on pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies.
Anticipate potential launch challenges and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of product launches.
Capture insights and feedback to refine and improve launch processes. Conduct post-launch reviews to measure success and identify areas for future enhancement and product growth.
Key Requirements - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical product management, marketing, or related roles, with a strong emphasis on product launch.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is essential; an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in leading the launch of pharmaceutical products.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, market access planning, and sales training development.
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to influence and engage stakeholders across various levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to operational detail.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to planning and execution.
- Sound knowledge of the current pharmaceutical landscape, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
