About the role:
As the eCommerce Trade Manager, the role is responsible for overseeing all eCommerce operations for the Pure Play portfolio, driving both brand and revenue growth through strategic web store management in the Glocal market. Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, the position involves full ownership of the eCommerce process, collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize operations. Key duties include identifying trading opportunities, enhancing user experience and conversion performance, managing products and promotions, and co-developing Trade and eCRM plans with the Digital Marketing Manager. Execution support is provided by the eCommerce Specialis
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build out and manage the blog to build brand trust, drive conversion and improve SEO.
- Work in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager to highlight key product stories to be used in performance marketing initiatives.
- Take direction from Head of Digital or SLT to update and adjust content or product approach.
- With the Digital Marketing Manager design and implement customer retention strategies to increase loyalty, retain business & drive sales.
- Contribute ideas to the Customer Acquisition Strategy as driven by the Digital Marketing Manager.
- Monitor UX across all sites & implement low/no cost improvements to drive increased sales.
- Develop testing roadmap and user testing for UX/CRO initiatives.
Skills & Experience: - At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, in an eCommerce retail environment
- Proficient in Google Analytics and other web analytical tool
- Data driven, analytical and results-oriented, with an appetite for constant testing and optimization
- Measurable experience with both creative and analytical digital commerce
- Experience with optimization, A/B testing
- Shopify experience
