About the role:
The National Account Executive plays a key role in executing the organization's strategic pillars by supporting the National Accounts team, developing relationships with wholesalers, key accounts, and buying groups, and driving business priorities. As a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, the role contributes to achieving commercial objectives by maximizing sales through wholesalers and target pharmacy accounts. Acting as the lead negotiator, the incumbent manages and grows wholesaler relationships, drives new product uptake, and supports the division in meeting budgeted sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing presentations for state and customer meetings.
- Support planning, report generation, performance tracking, and coordination for various projects.
- Apply an understanding of VidaCorp’s objectives to support decision-making and sales functions.
- Prepare and coordinate customer packs on behalf of the sales team.
- Assist in executing tactical sales campaigns, including new product launches (NPD).
- Maintain accurate pricing, update pricelists, and process free stock and credit/replacement orders.
- Lead the “Stage Gate” process, manage the NPD Tracker, and ensure key account priorities are met.
- Identify key motivators, enhance product ranging, and build trust with key wholesale personnel.
- Maintain promotional plans, coordinate marketing materials, process invoices, and track coop spending.
- Work with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align business priorities and ensure seamless execution.
Skills & Experience: - 1-2 years’ experience in an administration / customer service / sales role in a complex working environment.
- Experience managing multiple conflicting priorities effectively while still delivering to a high standard.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Prior Territory or Key Account Management sales experience preferred
- Tertiary education in Business, Science, or a related field is essential, with pharmacy-specific education desirable.
- Responds positively to change and adjusts to evolving work conditions.
- Provides high-quality support, ensuring professionalism in all interactions. Works effectively with colleagues, offering support and contributing to team objectives.
- Acts beyond requirements to seek out ways to enhance processes, simplify complexity, and generate creative solutions.
