The Role:

As a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the peak performance and reliability of our client's heavy diesel vehicles and machinery. We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our client's welcoming team.

This role involves equipment servicing, maintenance, and assisting with yard operations, including equipment movement and loading. Responsibilities include routine maintenance and repairs on machinery such as piling equipment and power packs, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting preventative maintenance to address potential problems.


About You:

• Experience working on earthmoving / construction equipment
• Piling and retaining experience a bonus
• Relevant Level 4 Qualification or no less than 3 years experience
• Mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles
• A good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Valid NZ driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
