Lynx recruitment are partnered with multiple large contractors in the Civil Space
 
We are recruiting experienced Estimators in Auckland and Northland that focus on the pre-construction phase of the project.
 

• Do you have experience using CCS Candy or similar software?
• Experience estimating civil infrastructure and utilities projects in NZ?
• Looking to join a company with a large pipeline of future work?

 
Day to day in the role:
 
Estimating and tendering - Review tender documentation, Preparing estimates for tenders, coordinate with bid teams, prepare detailed packages for subcontract and supplier pricing
 
Briefing the project teams - prepare detailed handovers to project teams when the contract is awarded, and further through the build phase as required
 
Reporting & Administration - update reports as required and assist the project teams with administration functions (dependant on team workload) Liase with Internal and External stakeholders (council, suppliers, subcontractors, clients)
 
Experience / Qualifications Required:
 

• 3+ years experience estimating for civil projects
• Communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge about the Civil Construction industry.
• Capable of reading plans and construction documents including specifications and contracts.
• Effective time management and scheduling skills.
• A methodical approach, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines is critical.
• Highly computer literate proficient in computer applications in MS Excel, MS Projects and CCS or similar 

Salary / Remuneration: 
 
$90,000 - $130,000 (and above if candidates at a Senior level)
