Job Title: Foreman Electrician ⚡️
Location: Queenstown ��️
Reporting To: Supervisor, Project Manager, Contracting Manager 

Company Overview: We are a dynamic and reputable contracting company based in Queenstown, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracting Foreman Electrician to join our team. With a commitment to quality and excellence, we provide professional electrical services for industrial, commercial, and domestic purposes.

Key Responsibilities: As a Contracting Foreman Electrician, you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking day-to-day electrical services, including design, assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
• Collaborating with the Site Supervisor to agree upon site responsibilities.
• Planning forward workload and procuring plant and materials for efficient and timely job completion.
• Supervising and working alongside site staff, allocating day-to-day workload.
• Ensuring staff have the correct information, equipment, and materials in advance of starting any project.
• Monitoring staff numbers on contracts, adjusting as necessary.
• Using and maintaining company Health & Safety Policies, being responsible for onsite Health & Safety.
• Liaising with onsite staff to resolve problems or issues.
• Monitoring the quality of workmanship across projects.
• Completing paperwork accurately and timely, including time sheets and project completion documents.
• Attending labor meetings, communicating labor requirements, and reporting current labor performance.
• Identifying and assisting with pricing project variations.
• Seeking best pricing from suppliers for materials.
• Checking and signing off invoices.
• Managing the upkeep and condition of all equipment and plant under your control.
• Checking emails and responding promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current NZ Electrical Registration
• Current NZ Practicing License
• Current Site Safe.
• Current Safe Working Practices Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Driver's License for a class 1 light motor vehicle.
• Four years’ experience working as a qualified Electrician.
• Good understanding of electrical regulations and current codes of practice (ASNZS 3000).
• Knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act 2002.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and pro-active.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Accountability for the success of jobs under your control.
• Customer-focused and committed to providing a high quality of service.
