About the Role, We are seeking a qualified and experienced Drainlayer to join our client's civil construction team in Auckland. In this role, you’ll work on various civil projects, including drainage system installations, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in drain laying and a thorough understanding of New Zealand’s health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems on civil construction sites
• Read and interpret site plans and drainage designs
• Operate machinery and tools required for trenching and laying pipes
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Work collaboratively with team members and contractors to meet project timelines

Skills and Experience

• Senior Drainlayer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Drainlaying
• Strong team ethic and ability to manage staff
• Proficiency in using drain-laying machinery and equipment
• Strong understanding of local drainage regulations and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision
• Full, clean driver’s license
