The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of a Hotel project in Palmerston North. This project includes the demolition of an existing building, staged work on a heritage façade, and the construction of a structural steel and façade system. The development includes 68 hotel rooms, 9 VA apartments, hotel reception, retail spaces, and a conference room.
The project is set to begin in April/May 2025, and we’re hiring now to bring someone on board by February to begin planning and assembling your team of Site Managers.

What We’re Looking For
We need an all-rounder PM who can manage all aspects of this project. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in large-scale commercial builds, preferably with hotel or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including structural systems, facades, and heritage interfaces.
• Proven ability to manage teams, including Site Managers and subcontractors.
• 8+ years in Construction Management in NZ.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on safety, timelines, and results.
• Candidates based outside Palmerston North are welcome to apply, with relocation support available.
