Lynx Recruitment is working with established construction companies and consultancies across Auckland and Queenstown, with opportunities available for experienced Quantity Surveyors at various levels.
As the construction industry gears up towards Christmas and the new year, we're keen to connect with Quantity Surveyors who are open to exploring new opportunities, whether that's a step up in their current city or a complete change of scenery.
THE OPPORTUNITIES
We're currently recruiting and building our candidate network across:
• Residential construction, including high-end architectural homes and large-scale residential developments
• Commercial construction, working with established main contractors and construction businesses
• Quantity Surveying consultancies, offering exposure to diverse commercial projects and clients
• Intermediate and Senior Quantity Surveying positions
• Opportunities across Auckland and the Queenstown Lakes region
For those considering a move to Queenstown, relocation assistance may be available or negotiated with individual employers for the right candidates.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
New Zealand construction experience is essential for these opportunities.
For residential positions, proven residential Quantity Surveying experience is a must.
For commercial and consultancy opportunities, we're particularly interested in candidates with solid New Zealand commercial construction experience and a strong, consistent employment history.
Ideally, you'll bring:
• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the New Zealand construction industry
• Strong residential or commercial project experience relevant to the opportunities available
• Experience in estimating, tendering, procurement, variations and cost management
• A solid understanding of New Zealand construction processes and contracts
• Good employment tenure and a consistent career history
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, contractors and project teams
• A genuine interest in progressing your career, whether that's in Auckland or Queenstown
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
• Salary packages generally ranging from $100,000 to $180,000+, depending on experience and seniority
• Opportunities with established residential builders, commercial contractors and professional consultancies
