About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant commercial construction project based in Paeroa, commencing later this year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a single project from pre-construction through to completion. The project is expected to run for approximately 16-18 months, with the successful candidate becoming involved well before site commencement to ensure a seamless handover and successful delivery.

The business is looking to begin meeting candidates during July and August, allowing plenty of time to build a strong working relationship before the project starts prior to Christmas.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage the project from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Oversee programme, budget, quality and health & safety.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks.

About You

• Proven experience delivering commercial or High-end residential construction projects as a Project Manager.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage programmes, budgets and subcontractors effectively.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Looking for a long-term project where you can make a genuine impact.
• Reliable, committed and looking to see a project through from start to finish.

Location The project is based in Paeroa, Waikato. Candidates may be based in:

• South Auckland (approximately 1 hour from Drury)
• Hamilton
• Tauranga
• Surrounding Waikato or Bay of Plenty regions
