Upwards of 8 Megawatt installs and huge pipelines of agri-sector installs from 100-150KW
We are looking for qualified electricians to join our team! These roles are recruiting immediately and come with a competitive remuneration package.
We have permanent positions available for qualified electricians that are well presented, self-motivated, customer focused and willing to expand their knowledge and experience. The right people for these roles will hold a current practicing license, a clean full drivers license, and will have the right to work in NZ.
Job description includes:
- Commercial solar installations
- Commercial and Industrial electrical installations
- Installation of cabling, terminations and LV joints in subdivisions
- Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical, fibre and data works
- Commercial scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and electrical repairs
- Site preparation, building, maintenance and repair of street lighting infrastructure and associated equipment
- Metering and tariff control equipment installation and maintenance
The successful applicants will demonstrate the following: - Competent in installation and commissioning electrical equipment
- Commissioning, testing and certifying all required electrical work
- Scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and electrical repairs
- Committed to working safely and completing all daily paperwork
- Ability to travel, attend call outs and complete overtime
- Able to work independently or in a team
- An ability to work under pressure and still maintain a sense of humour
- A full NZ driver’s license and the ability to drive manual vehicles
The following experience would be desirable but not necessary: - Mechanical and electrical pump system fault finding and diagnostics
- Class 2 or higher license
- Experience with PLC, VSD and controls systems, installation & troubleshooting
Days of work: Monday to Friday, with on-call roster to cover weekends and after hours
Hours per week: 40hrs per week plus Overtime when available
