We’re on the hunt for a Certified and Qualified Drainlayer to take charge of a sites in Central Auckland.
 
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong background in 3 waters, drainage, and small civil works.
 
You’ll be managing a small crew and delivering a range of maintenance and project-based work.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small on-site crew
• Excavate trenches and lay pipes in line with project specs
• Operate heavy machinery (excavators, rollers, loaders)
• Liaise with managers and construction teams to meet daily, weekly, and milestone targets

• 2–5 years of experience in NZ-based civil or residential drainage and stormwater systems
• A Certified Drainlayer ticket – CCC authorisation preferred
• W, T, R endorsements – ideal but not essential
• A clean, full NZ Class 1 or 2 Driver’s Licence
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass all pre-employment checks
• A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
