Rate: $1,500 per day

About the Practice
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0700 – 1730, with a 60-minute lunch break
After Hours / on-call: None
Consult Time / Workload: 15-minute consults, with the expectation for locums to see 4 patients per hour.
Demographics: 5% to 10% of patients are booked for Occupational Health assessments.
Software: Medical Director
Staff: This practice has 7 GPs, 6 of whom work full-time; as we are covering periods of annual leave, locums will work alongside 4 GPs at a time and be supported by a small team of nurses (2 RNs and 1 EN). There is a pyhsio and a chiropractor in town, but all other allied health and non-GP specialists are based in Mackay.

This location is home to Australia’s largest coal mining deposits and offers a range of services typically found in larger towns.
