Adventure awaits a GP Locum in the town of Sale, which is rich in nature with all the mountains, beaches and lakes.

Country general practice with a workforce shortage. Sale is a short drive from Melbourne and Bairnsdale.

Dates: 4th - 30th November
Duration: 1-week minimum commitment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0900 am - 1700 pm and Saturday, 0900 - 1200, with 60 minutes (flexible) for lunch.
After Hours / on-call: None
Consult Time / Patient Load: 15-minute consults, current GPs are seeing 15-25 patients per day.
Billing: Mixed Billing Practice where 40 - 50% of patients are privately billed.
Software: Best Practice
Staff: You will likely work as the solo GP as the permanent GPs have requested leave, you will be sorted by an experienced practice nurse.
Pay: $1,700 flat rate per day + GST
Provisions: Flights or mileage, accommodation and hire / fleet car provided.

Home to the Gunai or Kurnai people, the town of Sale is located at the western end of the Gippsland Lakes. Sale is connected to Melbourne by rail and is on the Gippsland and Prince’s highways. Sale is rich in nature with all the mountains, beaches and lakes close by which are well-maintained.

Take time out to relax at the Port of Sale precinct with its selection of cafes and restaurants, or visit the sensational regional gallery named Gippsland Art Gallery. Wander through the tranquil grounds of the 150-year-old Sale Botanic Gardens. You can also check out the La Trobe Swing Bridge, the first movable bridge to be constructed in Victoria lies five kilometres out of Sale to the south.
