Cambridge Resthaven is a 100% local, community-owned retirement village and aged care provider offering retirement living options and personalised care to enhance the lives of seniors. Cambridge Resthaven has served the community for over 50 years, is home to 250 residents, and employs a team of approximately 140.
Cambridge Resthaven has a retirement village, supported living apartments and care centre in Vogel Street, and a second care centre in Burns Street. The care facilities offer long-term aged residential care, continuing (hospital) care, and specialised memory (dementia) care.

About the role
As the part-time Human Resources Coordinator, you will support key in-house employee lifecycle administration, including employment documentation, recruitment and onboarding and workforce compliance administration.
You will provide accurate, timely and confidential HR administration, ensuring workforce information remains current, complete and compliant. By coordinating efficient recruitment and onboarding processes, you will help managers appoint and induct new team members efficiently and safely.
You’ll be a clear, confident communicator who builds positive working relationships and brings a practical, customer-focused approach. Well organised and comfortable using your judgement, you’ll be able to work independently and keep people informed.
With an average of 10 hours onsite each week, you’ll know how to make your time count by prioritising compliance-critical work, maintaining momentum between onsite days and responding flexibly to changing operational needs. You’ll enjoy creating practical systems and workflows that make HR administration easier and more efficient.
