About the Role
You’ll take ownership of your own portfolio, work directly with clients and build strong, lasting relationships. You’ll be making a real difference to business owners and supporting them with advice they can trust.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing end‑of‑year financial statements, tax returns, and management reports
- Delivering meaningful advice across tax planning, business improvement and strategic insights
- Reviewing work, supporting junior team members and leading by example
We’d love you to be a qualified CA or working toward it, but for us, drive, capability and confidence matter most. We prefer full-time hours but may consider part-time for the right person.
Knowledge & Experience You’ll Bring
- In-depth knowledge of NZ accounting standards and tax legislation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Hands-on experience with Xero, XPM and Suite Files
- Excellent attention to detail and sound commercial awareness
- A team-oriented mindset, ambition, and a sense of fun
