- Expert-level PL/SQL - complex packages, materialized views, performance tuning, bulk operations.
- Strong Oracle Database Engineering - schema design, query optimization, indexing, partitioning.
- Linux/Shell Scripting & Bash - build scripts, automate ETL, support scheduling dependencies.
- SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing - strong understanding of data models, orchestration, pipelines.

What You'll DoEmpty heading
The
Oracle Data Engineer designs, develops, deploys, and supports high-performance Oracle data solutions that power enterprise banking platforms. You will modernize legacy Oracle codebases, ensure robust data availability, and build optimized PL/SQL-driven ETL workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmpty heading
- Migrate & modernize legacy Oracle PL/SQL code to updated 53 Oracle environments.
- Design, develop, tune, and maintain PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Engineer scalable & reusable Oracle-based data solutions for ETL, warehousing, analytics, and application integration.
- Develop Linux/Shell/Bash scripts to automate processes and manage scheduling dependencies.
- Work closely with enterprise architecture, security, and LOB stakeholders to translate strategies into data-driven solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and deep-dive troubleshooting for critical production incidents.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, self-service deployment tools, and automation scripts.
- Conduct trend research on new Oracle features, cloud/hybrid data platforms, and modern data engineering principles.
- Create and deliver monthly presentations to product owners and stakeholders.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while adhering to banking compliance, risk, and data governance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide clear technical guidance.
