Job Title: Hub Content Manager
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Downtown highly preferred); Remote EST/CST acceptable

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically fluent Hub Content Manager to lead the organization, governance, and continuous improvement of our internal AI Knowledge Center—the centralized location for AI tools, documentation, best practices, onboarding materials, and workflow guidance across the enterprise.
This role blends information architecture, technical writing, content governance, process design, Confluence automation, and stakeholder coaching. You will partner with engineering, product, AI/ML teams, operations, and design to ensure content is accurate, actionable, discoverable, and aligned to organizational standards.
You are a strong communicator who thrives in structured systems, enjoys simplifying complex concepts, and can coach subject-matter experts to contribute high-quality content. You will own the content lifecycle, content standards, taxonomy, templates, review workflows, and Confluence governance model that enables scalable knowledge sharing across AI initiatives.
What You’ll DoContent Architecture & Organization
- Audit, categorize, and restructure existing AI/ML documentation into a cohesive information architecture.
- Build and maintain taxonomies, metadata models, templates, tagging standards, and navigation systems.
- Use Confluence macros, labels, page properties, and automations to enhance searchability and usability.
- Create standardized naming conventions, formatting rules, and lifecycle policies.
Collaborative Knowledge Development - Partner with engineering, AI/ML, data science, product, and design teams to collect, clarify, and validate content.
- Guide contributors through structured processes, including templates, checklists, review cycles, and publication workflows.
- Facilitate contributor enablement sessions, review meetings, and documentation workshops.
Content Creation & Editorial Leadership - Write and revise technical guides, FAQs, onboarding modules, best practices, workflows, tool documentation, and governance references.
- Translate technical concepts (AI models, pipelines, tools, APIs, prompts, risk controls, etc.) into clear language for internal audiences.
- Perform editorial review to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
Content Management & Governance - Define, implement, and maintain content governance policies, contributor roles, approval workflows, and version control practices.
- Use Confluence automations and AI features to streamline content workflows and quality checks.
- Maintain content health analytics, identify gaps, and recommend ongoing improvements.
Process & Workflow Improvement - Develop scalable documentation systems, templates, and content operations processes.
- Introduce automations that support lifecycle management, tagging, review reminders, and archiving.
- Continuously optimize the documentation ecosystem based on user feedback and analytics.
What You’ll Need - 5+ years of experience in content management, technical writing, or knowledge management—preferably in software, cloud, AI/ML, or data science environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Confluence, including page properties, macros, templates, and automations.
- Strong technical fluency—comfortable working with AI/ML teams, engineers, and product teams.
- Experience building centralized documentation hubs or knowledge centers.
- Understanding of information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with AI/ML tooling and concepts is a plus.
