About the Team The
Mastered Data Product team plays a strategic role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and trustworthiness of the Bank’s most critical enterprise data assets. This team aggregates, normalizes, and governs foundational data across loan and deposit domains to support regulatory, analytical, and operational use cases.
Role Overview As the
Senior Data Product Owner III, you will be the voice of the business and the customer, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering a unified Mastered Data Product (MDP) on Snowflake for Loans and Leases. You will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, collaborating closely with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Line-of-Business stakeholders to ensure that mastered data products deliver measurable value, transparency, and compliance across the enterprise.
This position requires strong product management experience, an understanding of financial data domains, and the ability to translate complex data needs into actionable user stories. You will work within an Agile/SAFe framework to drive roadmap execution, enable squad efficiency, and promote a culture of data excellence.
Key Responsibilities - Define, prioritize, and manage delivery of the Loan & Lease Mastered Data Product within Snowflake and the enterprise data platform.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Governance teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and control frameworks are embedded in design and delivery.
- Translate business and regulatory needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Maintain a transparent and prioritized product backlog that aligns with strategic objectives, technical dependencies, and delivery capacity.
- Partner with stakeholders to define a clear product vision, roadmap, and measurable KPIs for value delivery and adoption.
- Support data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting and risk management standards.
- Advocate for Agile/SAFe best practices, facilitating sprint ceremonies and coaching the team on iterative, value-driven delivery.
- Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to senior executives, technology leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Drive adoption and integration of the Mastered Data Product across downstream systems, including analytical and regulatory platforms.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Data Product Manager.
- Strong experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, DBT, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of data governance, quality management, and metadata management frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments with a demonstrated ability to deliver iterative, value-based outcomes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable data requirements.
Preferred Qualifications - Domain knowledge of loans, deposits, or other core banking products.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma, data lineage, or data quality control processes.
- Proven ability to bridge business and technical conversations and influence stakeholders across functions.
- Experience with enterprise data governance tools and frameworks
