We are recruiting for Correctional Case Officer opportunities located in Grafton, NSW and Adelaide, SA. As these positions are within a correctional environment, the recruitment process is comprehensive and may take several months to complete. Shortlisted candidates will be required to successfully complete several stages of assessment, which may include interviews, language and numeracy testing,  medical assessments, background and security checks, and any other pre-employment requirements specified by our client.

The Correctional Case Officer is responsible for the supervision, care, rehabilitation, and reintegration of inmates within a correctional facility. The role ensures a safe, secure, and supportive environment while promoting positive behavioural change and assisting inmates in preparing for successful reintegration into the community.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and manage inmates in accordance with operational procedures and safety requirements
• Develop, implement, and review case management plans tailored to individual rehabilitation needs
• Support the delivery of education, training, and reintegration programs
• Observe and document inmate behaviour, reporting incidents, risks, or breaches promptly
• Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain situational awareness within the facility
• Encourage inmate accountability, self-development, and participation in rehabilitation programs
• Maintain accurate case files, reports, and communication logs
• Collaborate with colleagues and external service providers to support inmate outcomes
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture
