As a Product Engineer, you will play a foundational role in shaping and launching first-of-their-kind legal products that redefine how legal decisions are made. You will design and build core frontend and backend systems, collaborating closely with founders and cross-functional teams to take products from 0 to 1. Your work will directly impact how leading law firms and corporations manage legal risk through AI-driven solutions.

What You’ll Focus On

• Design, build, and maintain features across the stack - from SvelteKit frontend components and scalable GraphQL resolvers to backend integrations with commercial and custom-built AI models
• Develop and launch state-of-the-art features that solve real pain points for legal professionals and enterprise customers
• Work with live legal data and analytics systems to deliver actionable outputs in real time
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship new features based on user feedback
• Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and engineers to influence product direction and technical strategy
• Own projects end-to-end in a small, high-ownership team - you will have a direct line to founders and decision-makers

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment taking products from concept to launch
• Strong in TypeScript (preferred) or Python, with hands-on experience building or integrating AI/ML products
• Familiarity with Svelte or willingness to learn quickly
• Experience working on data-intensive systems - analytics, data pipelines, data processing, or related UIs
• Proven track record of defining product vision and shipping features to customers
• High agency, quality-driven, hands-on, and eager to work directly with founders to iterate based on real-world feedback
• Experience in small, high-ownership teams, with a bias for action and problem-solving
• Background in academic or high-caliber technical environments is a plus
