Candii is recruiting several experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians for a 100% Australian-owned services business with more than 20 years in the industry. They already have established depots in Karratha and Port Hedland and are now growing both teams.
These are permanent, full-time roles with strong rates, a genuine package to get you to the Pilbara and plenty of work once you're here. If you're already in the region, or you've been thinking about making the move north, now is a good time.
The package
- $55 to $60+ per hour, depending on your experience
- Housing assistance or a relocation fee to help you make the move
- Overtime and penalties paid on top of your base rate
- Company vehicle and fuel card
- Phone and tablet supplied
- An established local depot and team, not a new start-up operation
- Training and upskilling to keep your tickets and skills current
The work You'll look after commercial and industrial clients across the Pilbara, mixing scheduled maintenance with breakdowns, repairs and installs. Expect to work on:
- Split, ducted and VRV/VRF systems
- Chillers and mechanical plant
- Commercial refrigeration, cool rooms and freezer rooms
- Controls and BMS
Your jobs come through dispatch, and once you're on the road you run your own day.
You'll need - Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Current ARCtick licence
- Current driver's licence
- Restricted electrical licence (where applicable)
- Solid commercial HVAC/R experience, including fault-finding
- The confidence to work on your own and look after clients on site
It helps if you have - EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets
- BMS / controls experience
- Commercial refrigeration or process cooling experience
- A background on industrial, mining or large commercial sites
About our client Our client is a national HVAC/R, fire, electrical and building services business. You get the stability and systems of a national operator, working out of a local depot with a team already on the ground in the Pilbara.
Ready to head north? Apply now with your resume and let us know whether you'd prefer Karratha or Port Hedland. If you'd like to talk through the rates, housing or relocation before you apply, contact the Candii team for a confidential chat. Every applicant hears back from us.
